Teen Summer Reading Club
Read whatever you like over the summer for a chance to win awesome prizes!
Georgina Public Library’s Teen Summer Reading Club runs from Saturday, June 13 until Sunday, August 30 for teens in Grades 7 to 12.
Step 1: You will need a Teen Summer Reading Club bookmark to participate.
Step 2: Read your favourite books over the summer and record what book you read on your bookmark.
- Find your next great read at the library!
- Reread one of your favourite books.
- Use your bookmark to mark your place in the book.
Step 3: Enter to win prizes by submitting your bookmarks.
- Your bookmark doubles as your ballot for our July and August prize draws.
- Once you have finished your book, fill out your contact information on the bookmark.
- Return your bookmarks to any library branch or email a picture of your bookmarks to libraryprograms@georgina.ca before the July and August prize draw deadlines.
- The more books you read each month, the greater chance you have to win a prize!
Three winners will each receive a $50.00 gift card to a local Georgina business of their choice.
Georgina Public Library Summer Reading and Learning Club contest rules
- The Teen Summer Reading Club is open to all Georgina Public Library cardholders, Grade 7 to Grade 12.
- The winners of the prize draw will be required to provide Georgina Public Library with their name, phone number, and complete address to confirm that they are GPL card holders.
- The prize will be forfeited, and GPL will draw another winner if the selected entrant:
- Declines the prize.
- Fails to pick up the prize within 30 days.
- Each Teen Summer Reading Club bookmark will be one entry for the prize draws. Teens can have multiple entries for the prize draws based on the number of books that they read.
- Limit of one prize per person.
- Prizes must be accepted as awarded.
- Entering the challenge signifies your acceptance of these rules.
- GPL’s Teen Summer Reading Club runs Saturday, June 13 to Sunday, August 30.
- There will be three teen winners selected for July, and three teen winners selected for August.
- Bookmarks must be received by Sunday, August 2 to be eligible for the July prize draw. The winners of the July prize draw will be contacted on Friday, August 7.
- Bookmarks must be received by Sunday, August 30 to be eligible for the August prize draw. The winners of the August prize draw will be contacted on Friday, September 4.
