Join CAPC for a special party celebrating autumn at Pefferlaw Branch. Families with children ages 0 to 6 are invited to explore the sights, colours, and fun of the fall season through hands-on activities celebrating apples, colourful leaves, and the autumn harvest.  We will also enjoy a special fall-themed storytime with staff from Georgina Public Library. Come celebrate the magic of autumn with us!

Halloween Party (Tuesday, October 27)

Get ready for a spook-tacular time! Join CAPC Educators, Jacky and Annette, at the Pefferlaw Branch for a Halloween party designed just for littles ones ages 0 to 6. Come dressed in your favourite costume, and join us for a fun-filled celebration featuring music, dancing, and festive fun.  We will also enjoy a special Halloween storytime presented by our friends at Georgina Public Library!

Dance Party (Tuesday, November 24)

Put on your dancing shoes, and join CAPC for a fun-filled Dance Party at Pefferlaw Branch. Children ages 0 to 6 and their caregivers are invited to move, groove, and wiggle along to upbeat music and action songs.  We'll also enjoy a special storytime with staff from Georgina Public Library.  Come ready to sing, dance, laugh and make new friends!

Holiday Party (Tuesday, December 15)

Our Feelings Have Rhythm is an emotion focused group for children. Led by KUUMBA facilitators, it's a respectful space where we use verbal discussion, body language, and music to understand the experiences of African, Caribbean, and Black people from the past, present, and future. We will explore topics like self-perception, how to express emotions, safe communication styles, coping strategies, and resilience through discussion and activities. This group will be focused on empowering children to name their experiences and authentically express themselves.
