Learn how to use your creativity to start your own business just like 11-year-old Olamide, Pocketlings founder. Participants will design their own “mini Pocketlings doll” to foster imagination, representation, and problem-solving.

Osayi Lasisi is the co-founder of Pocketlings and a growth marketer with 13+ years of experience. But the real story starts with her daughter. Olamide, now 11, couldn't find a doll that looked like her. So, she and her mom built one — and Pocketlings dolls & books were born. Today, Olamide is the brand's co-founder and creative lead.

Designed for children 0-6 years, the "Play & Learn" program combines hands-on activities, stories, songs, and social time to support early learning and development. CAPC (Community Action Program for Children) is a Public Health Agency of Canada initiative that focuses on forming partnerships in the community to create opportunities for families, so that by the age of six, all children will have opportunities to develop to their optimum level physically, socially, and emotionally.
