All Babies Count (ABC) Prenatal Nutrition Program is a free weekly program for mothers who need extra support during their pregnancy. Expecting mothers learn about nutrition, pregnancy, and parenthood. Open to all prenatal mothers living in York Region until their babies reach 6 months of age. Facilitated by Rose of Sharon. Rose of Sharon provides free supportive programs and educational services in York Region to pregnant and parenting youth (14-29 years) while they build greater stability in their children's lives. These programs empower young mothers to embrace their strengths, continue high school, build parenting skills, increase child development knowledge, receive personal counselling, and have access to food and practical supports needed to raise healthy children. Offered online and onsite in a welcoming, safe, and inclusive space, youth parents set goals and work toward building the future they envision for themselves and their little ones. Rose of Sharon is a registered Canadian charity. 100% of the free programs and services that we offer are funded thanks to community donors and program funders.

Connect with a staff member from CMHA (Canadian Mental Health Association) to learn about employment, case management, mental health, and justice resources available to you in the community.

CMHA, York Region Branch, was founded in 1984 and is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with mental illness. We help people learn how to maintain their mental health, look for and identify the signs of mental illness, and get help and support when they need it. Through several locations across York Region and South Simcoe, we provide a wide range of services to assist individuals with their recovery. Our multi-disciplinary team of professionals are dedicated to assisting people achieve their optimum level of mental health.
