Visit Ontario Parks with the Ontario Day-Use Park Permit!
How does it work?
- Each Day-Use Parks Permit is eligible for unlimited day-use access for one vehicle and its occupants to all provincial parks in Ontario where fees are normally charged. Park capacity limitations will apply.
- 7-day loan period for a Day-Use Parks Permit with no renewals
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must have a current Georgina Public Library ("Library") card and be in good standing with the Library.
- Yes, the Day-Use Parks Permits are holdable! Place a hold.
- Only one Day-Use Parks Permit can be checked out to a household at a time.
- There are two renewals allowed for the Day-Use Parks Permit.
- Day-Use Parks Permits must be returned in-person to a library staff member, not through a drop box.
- If the Day-Use Parks Permit is returned more than five days late, the replacement cost, per Permit, is $225.00. This is the rate set by Ontario Parks for a Commercial Day-Use Vehicle Permit.
- Failure to return the Day-Use Parks Permit on time will disallow you from borrowing a Parks Permit in the future.
- You cannot lend, rent, or sell the Day-Use Parks Permit to anyone.

Some popular Provincial Parks require advance booking for day-use; this includes Sibbald Point Provincial Park. You can book day-use access for your visit up to five days in advance using one of the following methods:
- Online at reservations.ontarioparks.com. You must create a free account with Ontario Parks to book online.
- By phone at 1-888-ONT-PARK (1-888-668-7275) – Open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
On the day of your park visit, you must bring:
- The Day-Use Parks Permit that you have borrowed from the library.
- A printed or electronic copy of the confirmation email that indicates that you have secured a space at the park for that day.
- Day-Use Parks Permits must be displayed on the rear-view mirror or dashboard of the vehicle while the vehicle is in a park.
