2025 GPL Summer Reading and Learning Club
Read and Play!
Participate in a variety of fun reading and learning activities. Be creative, discover your next passion, and then enter to win awesome prizes! Georgina Public Library’s Summer Reading and Learning Club runs until Saturday, June 14 to Friday, August 15, 2025 for anybody in Grade 8 or below.

Enjoy more fun reading and learning activities and complete your activity card with the TD Summer Reading Club and Georgina Public Library Programs.
Enter your game card in a draw for fantastic prizes. The more reading and learning activities you complete, the bigger prize you can win!
Game card submission deadline is Wednesday, August 20.
Three draw prize winners will be randomly chosen from each category:
- Age 0 to pre-Kindergarten
- Grade 2 and under
- Grades 3 to 5
- Grades 6 to 8
The prize awarded will be based on the total number of activities that a winner completed.
- $25.00 prize: 8 to 24 activities
- $50.00 prize: 25 to 48 activities
- $75.00 prize- 49 to 72 activities
A winner can select a gift certificate in the amount of the prize awarded from a local business of their choice. Last year, winners selected prizes to the following businesses:
- Indigo
- Giant Tiger
- Connors Music
- Imagine Cinemas
The winners for all of the prize draws will be contacted on Friday, August 22.
Additionally, we will also be running weekly Friday prize draws at all GPL branches. One prize winner will be selected each week from each branch starting Friday, July 4 until Friday, August 15. Ballots for the weekly prize draws are due on the Wednesday before the draw date. Children can enter these prize draws by reading or drawing about books that they read or were read to them.
The contest resets each week, so enter each week for more chances to win. You can also increase your chances of winning by reporting on multiple books in a week. Weekly draw prizewinners will be contacted at the end of the week via the contact information provided on their ballot. Submit your ballots at any GPL branch or by emailing a picture of your ballot to libraryprograms@georgina.ca. Your printable ballot will be available starting Saturday, June 14.
