Curated Playlists LinkedIn Learning has playlists that they curate that you can follow and work through.
Learning Paths Learning Paths are playlists created focusing on a specific career. Videos within this path will focus on specific skills, tasks or software that are essential for entering that career. This is a fantastic resource for anyone looking at completing post-secondary education to ensure they are going into the right field or to individuals looking to join a new workforce. The number and length of videos vary in each career. You can get an overview of this information once you select a learning path. Learning Paths also tend to include certificates. Once you have completed a learning Learning Path that has a certificate attached to it, you will be able to access it and share it to your social media accounts by hovering over your name on the top right and choosing “Certificates.” |

News and Email Preferences |
To set your news and email preferences, from the navigation bar, go to your profile and select profile. Then you'll select the news and email options. And from this page, this is where you'll need to come when you need to change both email addresses associated with your membership account as well as the email address associated with any newsletters you opt into or receive from us. They may very well be the same email address, but just be aware that the address under the account notifications is the one to which we will be sending billing and account information. If you prefer to receive newsletters at an alternate email address, enter that email address under the email subscriptions area. Basically, whichever email address is displayed or entered under the subscription email address heading is the email that will be affected by what you check or uncheck under the subscription options below here. You're free to select which newsletters you want to receive or not receive from LinkedIn Learning, or click unsubscribe all if you don't want to subscribe to any of them. But remember, this won't affect the emails we send to the email address listed up here at the top, which is where we'll be sending all of your billing and account information. You can also reach this page quickly by scrolling down to the footer, and under the support tab, selecting manage email preferences. And that's a quick way to jump right to this page. After you've made any selections, remember to click save to confirm. |
Certificates |
LinkedIn Learning Certificates of Completion are certifications you earn for the courses you have completely watched on LinkedIn Learning. Upon completion of a course, a certificate is automatically generated that can be viewed online and shared. The majority of the LinkedIn Learning courses are eligible for earning a Certificate of Completion. However, courses that are very short (under 10 minutes) or have frequent updates, such as Deke's Techniques or 10-Minute Tips, are not eligible for earning a Certificate of Completion because new content is always being added. Note: You may also not receive a Certificate of Completion if you haven't watched every video for that specific course. Please scroll through the Contents tab to see which video(s) was skipped/missed. You can determine which videos you have watched since it will have a Viewed icon to the right of the video title. The LinkedIn Learning system is able to track when a member watches and finishes a movie in a title. The Certificates category will show all of the certificates obtained on the account. From here, you can share those certificates on social media including LinkedIn. Or print off certificates to impress your boss. There is no official Certificate of Completion generated for completed Learning Paths. Once you have completed every course listed in the designated Learning Path, a banner will appear, notifying members that they can display their accomplishment on LinkedIn by clicking the Post To My Profile button. However, unlike Certificates for individual courses, a PDF document will not be provided to share/save/print. However, please note that members will still receive a Certificate of Completion for each individual course that is completed for the Learning Path they choose to watch. You can also print your certificate. When viewing your completed certificate, you can click "save as PDF," and then you can print the PDF (certificate). |
