An Aga Kahn Museum pass provides access for a single visit for two (2) adults and up to four (4) children under the age of 18. Please check agakhanmuseum.org for operating hours.

• Permits can be borrowed by Georgina Public Library cardholders ages 18+.
• Pass is valid for general admission only.
• Pass does not include parking.
• Only one permit can be checked out to a household at a time.
• The loan period is seven (7) days with no renewals.
• Passes can be renewed if there are no holds on them.
• Please note, not valid for March Break, or special ticketed events. Special workshops and performances require separate ticket purchase. 
• To prevent accidental damage or loss, Aga Kahn Museum passes must be returned at the circulation desk at any of our branches during opening hours, not through the drop box.

C-Pens are handy, portable devices designed to make reading and learning more accessible for people of all ages. They look like a highlighter or pen, but instead of marking text, they scan it! By running the C-Pen over a line of printed text, it can instantly read the words out loud or display them on a screen.

C-Pens are particularly helpful for individuals with dyslexia, vision impairments, or other reading challenges. They can assist with reading comprehension by defining words, translating text into different languages, and even saving notes for later. Many C-Pens are lightweight, easy to use, and often come with features like built-in dictionaries and USB connectivity for transferring data to a computer.

Borrow a Georgina rec pass. The rec pass provides:

• Unlimited access to fitness drop-in programs and walking/running track.
• Unlimited access swimming drop-in programs, including public swims, lanes swims, Aquafit and more.
• Unlimited access to open gym sessions, including drop-in basketball, volleyball, pickleball, preschool drop-ins and more.
• Unlimited access to skating drop-in programs, including public skates, stick and puck, pay figure skating (ticket ice), adult/senior hockey and more. 
• The loan period is seven (7) days with no renewals.

This pass is valid for one household. Households include up to five family members (two adults and up to three children/students or one adult and up to four children/students) living at the same address. Students aged 18 -25 must show valid student identification.

Visit Town of Georgina for updated visitors’ rules and policies. During your visit, this pass must be presented along with the borrower's library check out receipt and identification. Misuse, transfer or sale of these passes is not permitted and may result in library taking action, including the suspension of borrowing privileges. 

Please note, the Rec Pass is different from the ROC Season Pass and does not include access to the ROC facility. 

Launchpads are tablets that are pre-loaded with learning apps, videos, games, and more for hours of interactive learning and play. For ages 3-10.

• Launchpads can be borrowed by Georgina Public Library cardholders ages 18+.
• Two launchpads can be checked out on a card at a time.
• The loan period is seven (7) days. Launchpads can be renewed for a maximum of two (2) additional loan periods if there are no holds waiting.
• To prevent accidental damage or loss, launchpads must be returned at the circulation desk at any of our branches during opening hours, not through the drop box.

Mobile WiFi Hotspots are easy to use and give you a wireless connection to the internet. Just turn it on, and you are ready to go. With a hotspot, you can use your laptop, tablet, and phone to surf the internet, shop on your favourite website, do online banking, download movies and music from the Library, and more.

• Hotspots can be borrowed by Georgina Public Library cardholders ages 16+.
• Only one hotspot can be checked out to a household at a time.
• First-time borrowers must sign the borrower's agreement before checkout.
• The loan period is 21 days (3 weeks). Hotspots can be renewed for a maximum of two (2) additional loan periods if there are no holds waiting.
• To prevent accidental damage or loss, Mobile WiFi Hotspots must be returned at the circulation desk at any of our branches during opening hours, not through the drop box.

Nature Backpacks are kits for outdoor exploration and learning. The backpack contents include nature themed activities, books, identification sheets, and tools such as a magnifying glass, compass, or set of binoculars.

• Backpacks can be borrowed by Georgina Public Library cardholders ages 18+.
• Only one backpack can be checked out on a card at a time.
• The loan period is seven (7) days. Backpacks can be renewed for a maximum of two (2) additional loan periods if there are no holds waiting.
• To prevent accidental damage or loss, Nature Backpacks must be returned at the circulation desk at any of our branches during opening hours, not through the drop box.

Ontario Parks Day-Use Permits provide unlimited, day-use access for one vehicle and its occupants to all provincial parks in Ontario where fees are normally charged. Park capacity limitations will apply.

• The loan period is seven (7) days with no renewals.

Reptilia Passes

A Reptilia pass provides free, general admission for two (2) adults and up to four (4) children per visit. This pass can be used once per day. Pass includes access to all pavilions, exhibits, daily shows, tours, and live feedings, excludes any separately ticked events and updates. Passes work at all Reptilia locations: Whitby, Vaughan, and London. For hours of operation, visit Reptilia's website.

Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) Passes

We’re thrilled to announce that we now have free museum passes to the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) available! Explore the wonders of nature, art and culture with complimentary entry to one of Toronto’s most iconic destinations. All you need is a library card to get your pass!

Cardholder and guests (maximum 4 visitors) are entitled to free admission to the Royal Ontario Museum during regular public hours.  Children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Please visit rom.ca/welcome for updated visitor policies. During your visit, this pass must be presented with the borrower’s library card, corresponding library receipt, and identification.

This pass is valid for general Museum admission and special exhibitions (subject to capacity) only; excludes entry to separately ticketed events. Please note, the ROM pass does not cover parking fees while at the ROM.
