Book Club in a Bag

What does each Book Club in a Bag kit contain?  

Each kit contains 8 to 12 copies of a specific book, a folder of book club questions, and a sign-out sheet to keep track of the books. We currently have Book Club in a Bag sets for the following titles:

• Agatha of Little Neon (10 regular print copies)
• Braiding Sweetgrass (10 regular print copies)
• Five Little Indians (10 regular print copies, 1 Large Print)
• The Forgotten Home Child (10 regular print copies)
• The Headmaster’s Wager (10 regular print copies)
• Looking for Jane by Heather Marshall (10 regular print, 1 Large Print, 1 Book on CD)
• Our Missing Hearts (10 regular print, 1 Large Print, 1 Book on CD)
• Sunshine Nails (10 regular print, 1 Book on CD, 1 Large Print)
• Us Against You (10 regular print copies, 1 Large Print, 1 Book on CD)
• The Women (10 regular print, 1 Book on CD, 1 Large Print)

*Other accessible formats can be found in our collection separate from the Book Club in a Bag kits i.e. eBook, eAudio, Playaway. 

Anybody with a Georgina Public Library card in good standing can borrow a Book Club in a Bag kit.  

Library members can reserve a book club kit by emailing us. In your email, please include the following:

1. Your top three choices of the set you would like to borrow.

2. The date you would like to pick up the set.

3. Which library branch you would like to pick up the set from.

4. The date your book club will meet.

Please allow for up to five days for available Book Club sets to be ready for pick up.  

Library members can borrow up to two book club kits at a time. 

Renewals are not available for Book Club in a Bag kits. Library members are encouraged to return the kits promptly so they can be borrowed by the next person who has placed a hold.
