Honey Tasting with Hiveshare Program description: Join Chris Campbell of Hiveshare for a delicious and informative evening to learn about local honey production. Participants will have the opportunity to taste a variety of honeys sourced from local plants. Presenter Bio: Chris Campbell is a photographer by trade but in 2012, he became curious about honeybees, honey production, and how he could help dwindling bee populations. He has since expanded his knowledge through a worldwide community of beekeepers, including trips to Spain, France, Romania, Jordan and Sweden to learn from beekeepers there. Hiveshare is located right here in Georgina and he has upwards of 90 hives! |

Help Kids Learn To Read The Adult Reading Buddies Program will prepare adult volunteers to be effective Reading Buddies for young students in local schools and/or in your own family. Topics we will cover during the two sessions:
Presenter Bio: Susan is a retired YRDSB teacher with specialist training in Reading and many years of experience teaching Reading. She continues to teach students online and also volunteers at Black River Public School in Sutton. |

Self-Care with the Keswitches Register on Eventbrite starting on Tuesday, April 11 at noon to reserve your spot. Drop ins welcome as space allows. The $5.00 cost-recovery fee can be paid on the night of the program. Join The Keswitches to treat yourself to an evening of self-care. Participants will learn about different types of self-care and will make bath salts to take home. Presenter bio: Kimberly McKeough is the founder of the Original Keswitches. They are a volunteer group whose purpose started as a way to cheer up the community during the pandemic. Established in October 2021, they were influenced by communities around the world doing Witch Walks, bike rides, paddling and dancing the Wolfshager Hexenbrut dance during Hallowe'en. They practice their dance weekly and have been invited to perform their dance in parades and community gatherings including by the Optimist Club, the Georgina Art Gallery and the Farley Circles Hallowe'en Parade. |
