Thank you to everyone that made the 10th Annual Victorian Tea Party a huge success this year. See you next year!

Enjoy a Victorian Tea with scones, jam, tea, sandwiches, and treats. Victorian attire is encouraged! Purchase $20.00 mystery bags, do some early holiday shopping at the vendors' tables, play table games, and win door prizes. There are also prizes for best costume and best hat.

Why do we do it?

to promote literacy in our community
to bring people together for a fun afternoon to celebrate the library
to raise funds for extra items that improve the library
help the library fund events, programs, and services, technology, and improvements to the community space

What is a Victorian Tea Party?

Tables of eight enjoy finger foods and fancy teas.

What kind of food is served?

finger sandwiches
scones and preserves
treats and desserts
a selection of premium tea

What entertainment is available?

Harpist, Britt-Lynn Winch
Play fun, old-fashioned games with your table
Win door prizes and best costume prizes

What kind of shopping is there?

Silent auction for big ticket items donated by local businesses
Mystery loot bags for $20.00 (with contents valued at over $20.00)
A number of vendors will offer items for sale--great for early Christmas shopping.

Can I dress up?

Yes! It is optional, and adds to the fun
There are prizes for the best costume and best hat/fascinator.

Where do I get tickets?

You can buy your ticket at any library location starting Tuesday, October 10.

Tickets are $25.00 each.
Tickets are not sold at the door.
We accept cash, Debit, Visa, MasterCard or cheque payable to Georgina Public Library.

Looking to be a sponsor, a vendor, or make a donation?

We are currently looking for contributors to this year's event with many options to choose from to support:

Become a sponsor
Donate items for our silent auction, mystery bags, and/or door prizes.
Become a vendor (limited space available)

The event is a great way for businesses to gain visibility while giving back in ways that positively impact the entire community. All profits go directly towards enhancing programs and services at all four library branches for the enjoyment of all library members and visitors. All support is greatly appreciated. All contributors are acknowledged in the event brochure distributed on the day of the event.
