We’re excited to introduce automatic renewals, making it easier than ever to enjoy your library materials without worrying about due dates.
Starting Saturday, May 15, eligible items on your account will be automatically renewed before their due date—no action required.
What you need to know:
Check your due dates regularly through your online account or by contacting us.
If you have any questions, please reach out—we’re happy to help!
What are automatic renewals?
Automatic renewals mean that eligible items you borrow will renew themselves before their due date—so you don’t have to.
Do I need to do anything?
No—if your item is eligible, it will renew automatically.
Why didn't my item renew?
|
How will I know if something didn’t renew?
You are responsible for checking your account. If an item cannot be renewed, it must be returned by the due date.
How many times will items renew?
Items will renew automatically up to their borrowing period limits,(see chart above) as long as no one else is waiting for them.
Can I still renew items myself?
Yes—you can renew items anytime through your account.
Will all items automatically renew?
Most items will, but some exceptions may apply (e.g., high-demand materials, special collections).
Where can I check my due dates?
You can view all due dates and renewal activity through your online library account, or by contacting us in person, over email or over the phone
Can I still renew my items myself?

Lost or damaged items are subject to fines.
