Donations are accepted only during operating hours and must be screened by a staff member for acceptability. Donations become the property of the Library, and may be added to the collection, sold, or given away. Tax receipts are not issued for donated material.
We are only able to accept materials that meet the following criteria, in accordance with our Materials Selection Policy:

Due to the time commitment in assessing and processing donated items, please bring no more than one box of donations at a time.

Everyone has their own reason to give to their public library, whether it is the value in your life since childhood, or as a student, growing family, senior, hobbyist, or job seeker, or simply because you recognize the value of a vibrant library to community well-being.
