Adrienne McDowell

I am honoured to serve as a new member of the Georgina Public Library Board. I have been an avid reader since I was young, and I am a strong believer in lifelong learning and continuous growth. After I became a mother, I began attending the various Children’s and Youth programs with my son that the library offered. I saw firsthand the wide-reaching, positive impact that the library has as a community hub, and access point for knowledge in all its forms. I believe, now more than ever, that in a time of rapid change, libraries serve a critically important role for the growing community of Georgina through the numerous resources, programs, and services offered. I look forward to serving on the Board to help bring the library’s vision to fruition.
